Hitachi in Myanmar

Hitachi Asia Ltd. (Myanmar Branch) was first established as Hitachi Thailand Yangon branch in November 2012. In May 2014, Hitachi Asia Ltd. (Myanmar Branch) was established, to explore the various potential business opportunities in the country.

Hitachi has long contributed to the development of social infrastructure in Myanmar, having supplied power generation equipment to local power plants since the 1950s. At the same time, the group aims to contribute to the sustainable growth of Myanmar through Social Innovation Business.
